Hatbox Flower Care 101
Here's a few simple and helpful tips from our artisan florists, to keep your hatbox looking it's best.

Keep the floral foam hydrated
Your flowers drink directly from the floral foam (oasis) inside the hatbox.
Every 1-2 days, gently pour a small amount of water directly into the centre of the arrangement, allowing the foam to absorb it slowly.
Avoid overfilling, as this may damage the hatbox lining. A little and often is best.

Keep away from direct heat & sunlight
Place your arrangement in a cool room away from radiators, direct sunlight, fireplaces or warm kitchens. Heat will cause flowers to open and fade more quickly.

Avoid moving the arrangement too often
Our hatboxes are designed as a complete floral display, so keeping them in one place will help maintain their shape and styling.

Remove fading stems carefully
As individual stems naturally begin to fade, you can gently remove them to keep the arrangement looking fresh overall.
